For a software development class, we had to set up and execute a real-world project using databases. I decided to help out my grandfather, who was still using DOS software from 1989 to create his quad-lingual lace dictionary.

My Java program keeps a relational database of all dictionary entries, and allows to add digital pictures as well (which wasn't a thing in 1989...). Publishing has become much easier as well, since the program generates a print-ready PDF at the touch of a button.

The project has been under continuous development since 2013, and the last publication was made in June of 2018.
